South Australians Unite for Farmers at the Drought Breaker Lunch
South Australians are coming together to show their support for farmers doing it tough and raise vital funds for regional communities at the inaugural Drought Breaker Lunch.

Held at the Adelaide Showground on Friday 18 July 2025, the event will be a day of food, conversation and community spirit – all in support of rural South Australians.
​
The event is hosted by the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA, in partnership with Rural Aid and Rural Business Support.
​
Every dollar raised will go towards supporting farming families through mental health services, financial counselling, food vouchers, emergency assistance and long-term wellbeing programs, helping communities across the state still grappling with the ongoing impacts of drought and uncertainty.

Hosted by Jessica Adamson, there will be a keynote speaker and a live interview panel with a range of guests to talk about their firsthand experience in navigating the challenges of the drought.
​
Leading South Australian businesses, including Thomas Foods International, South Australian Cricket Association, Elders and RM Williams have also generously donated exclusive items and money-can’t-buy experiences for the live auction, giving guests the chance to bid and support a worthy cause.
