Foundation objectives;

  1. To establish, maintain and provide scholarships, bursaries or prizes covering all levels of education, in order to encourage and develop knowledge and skills in all fields of primary industry to predominantly benefit the community of South Australia;

  2. To encourage recipients of scholarships, bursaries or prizes to become involved in the activities of the Show Society; and

  3. To undertake activities and promotions to educate the community of South Australia about the importance of primary industry to the economy and social fabric of the State

Archives Foundation

The Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society of SA Inc has a range of archival information on site relating to the history of the Society, Royal Adelaide Show and Royal Adelaide Wine Show. This material is available for research purposes on an appointment basis.
As we are a 'collecting' archive we welcome donations of relevant material such as photographs, award certificates, ribbons, rosettes, trophies, medals, posters, showbags etc.  Monetary donations to the Archives Foundation are also welcomed in order that  we can continue to preserve and restore our collection.

Bequests

A gift in will (bequest) to the Royal Agricultural and Horticultural Society of SA or one of it’s Foundations is a meaningful way to contribute to supporting the future of primary industries and the next generation of its leadership in the state of South Australia.

Donors can choose to direct their bequest to a variety of areas, including:

  • Royal Agricultural & Horticultural Society Education Foundation & Scholarship Fund

    • Supporting and encouraging youth to further their education in primary industries

  • To be used at the Society’s absolute discretion

    • The Society - a not-for-profit organisation providing a connection between the country and city
